Peterborough Sunday meditation classes 6 – 7pm

Inner healing

 March  11 ¦ 18 ¦ 25

Buddhist meditation is a gentle technique, designed to heal our minds of the inner sickness of negativity and discouragement. By doing so, we can allow a deep sense of well-being to arise; to heal our self, those we love and our world in general.

These meditation classes are suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience of meditation. They are taught by experienced meditation teacher, Sue Leeks. They give a practical introduction to meditation and include topics such as the benefits of meditation, mindfulness, good posture, types of meditation, and how to start a daily meditation practice. Advice is also given on how to remain peaceful in daily life by applying the meditation techniques explained in these classes. The classes conclude with light refreshments afterwards. Please feel free to drop in on a class-by-class basis. See below for dates.

No special clothing is required with chairs and cushions provided for your comfort. Come along to any session, pre-booking is available but not required
