Enjoy a weekend of meditation and mindfulness with practical advice. During this weekend retreat we will learn and practice meditations that bring peace, joy and harmony to our life. Treat yourself to a real break – both physically and mentally and return home feeling refreshed and relaxed.

What to expect

On retreat, we take ourselves out of our normal environment and immerse ourselves in peace and quiet. We forget our daily lives, our work and all our stresses. Instead we focus on practical meditations that enable a positive transformation of mind.

This relaxing weekend offers a real break from the busyness of our life. It is an informal balance of meditations, practical teachings and time to rest and relax. It is an opportunity for those new to meditation to learn how to find inner peace and to cope with our busy everyday lives. And a chance for those with more experience to deepen their practice of meditation and Buddha’s teachings.

We meet new friends, catch up with old friends, chat together, read in the beautiful Peace Garden or just sit quietly and contemplate on this gentle spiritual retreat.

Our teacher, Gen Nyingpo, is a sincere practitioner and a down to earth, warm and inspiring teacher. She has been practising and teaching meditation for over 20 years and loves to guide us all on our wonderful Brighton retreat.

So, get away from it all for a weekend and enjoy a holiday for your mind with this relaxing weekend retreat of meditation and mindfulness.
