Ancient wisdom for modern times

Handed down over 2500 years, the techniques of Buddhist meditation are perfectly suited to the modern world. In these classes we will look at how we can apply this ancient wisdom in order to bring peace, strength and joy into our life and into the lives of others.

These meditation classes are suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience of meditation. They give a practical introduction to meditation and include topics such as the benefits of meditation, mindfulness, good posture, types of meditation, and how to start a daily meditation practice. Advice is also given on how to remain peaceful in daily life by applying the meditation techniques explained in these classes.

Please feel free to drop in on a class-by-class basis. See below for dates. No special clothing is required with chairs provided for your comfort.
