Stamford Arts Centre Meditation Classes – Thursdays 1 – 2pm

Inner healing

March 8 ¦ 15 ¦ 22 ¦ 29

Buddhist meditation is a gentle technique, designed to heal our minds of the inner sickness of negativity and discouragement. By doing so, we can allow a deep sense of wellbeing to arise; to heal our self, those we love and our world in general.

These meditation classes are suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience of meditation. They give a practical introduction to meditation and include topics such as the benefits of meditation, mindfulness, good posture, types of meditation, and how to start a daily meditation practice. Advice is also given on how to remain peaceful in daily life by applying the meditation techniques explained in these classes.

Please feel free to drop in on a class-by-class basis. See below for dates. No special clothing is required with chairs provided for your comfort.
