On the First Day of Christmas… The Magic of Giving

This is a traditional time of giving gifts to our loved ones. Imagine if you could give them everything they wished for – true happiness and freedom from suffering. Enjoy meditations to develop this pure wish and create the causes for this to happen in the future.

On the Second Day of Christmas… Coping with Family Friction

However much we love our family and friends, sometimes tension and friction occur – especially at this time of year. Learn techniques to help prevent and cope with these difficulties.

On the Third Day of Christmas… A Meditation Rescue Remedy

We all, at some time, experience painful minds such as anxiety, anger, sadness and stress. Today we will learn a meditation that we can use as an emergency ‘rescue remedy’ to restore our inner peace and equilibrium.

On the Fourth Day of Christmas… The Power to Choose How You Feel

It’s easy to feel that we are at the mercy of our thoughts and feelings – like they are in control of us. But we can learn to take back control – and to choose what we think and how we feel.

On the Fifth Day of Christmas… Relax – Nothing is Under Control!

When we realise that nothing is certain and everything is uncertain we can learn to relax and take a lighter approach to life.

On the Sixth Day of Christmas… The Magic of Mantra

Mantra means ‘mind protection’. Engage in a very special breathing meditation combining the mindfulness of the breath with the recitation of mantra.

On the Seventh Day of Christmas… Feel Connected in a Web of Kindness

In these difficult times of social distancing and isolation it can be easy to feel alone and disconnected. However, by remembering the kindness of others we can understand that we are all connected and interdependent.

On the Eighth Day of Christmas… May You Be Happy – A New Year Wish

Time to make our New Year’s Resolutions! One of the highest aspirations of the Buddhist path is to do no harm to others. Today we can choose, if we wish, to make our New Year’s resolution to do no harm and to only benefit others.

On the Ninth Day of Christmas… The Inner Wealth of Compassion

Discover how we can transform the challenges of this current situation into a positive mind by developing our compassion – the source of inner peace.

On the Tenth Day of Christmas… Don the Armour of Patience

A mind that can accept whatever arises – both pleasant and unpleasant – with patience is such a strong mind. Take the first steps to inner strength with this meditation on patient acceptance.

On the Eleventh Day of Christmas… The Great Escape

How often have we thought ‘I don’t have time for meditation’? Arguably, when we hear ourself thinking this, that’s exactly when we need to meditate! Develop the wish to begin – or continue – a daily meditation practice with this practical advice.

On the Twelfth Day of Christmas… Joy to the World

‘Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible.’ Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

We all wish for world peace. Discover how this begins with developing inner peace for ourselves. Enjoy a meditation helping us to develop the wish to attain peace, freedom, happiness and joy for everyone – without exception.

Booking will be open until 12 noon on Christmas Eve 24 December
