Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni

Sunday 28 November 2021
11.00am – 3.30pm

Buddha Shakyamuni Empowerment & Commentary to The Liberating Prayer

Buddha Shakyamuni is the founder of Buddhism. This blessing empowerment is a beautiful guided meditation that helps us to make a special connection with Buddha and receive his powerful blessings so that we can experience supreme inner peace.

Kelsang Malaya will give a commentary to the Liberating Prayer. We will understand how Buddha’s love for all beings, without exception, can protect us from our inner problems such as anger and is the source of all happiness.

What is an Empowerment: An Empowerment is a blissful guided meditation through which we make a special, heart-felt connection with a particular Buddha and receive their inspiration. The enlightened mind is said to be like a boundless deep ocean, every drop of which has the power to bring inner peace to living beings. Receiving an Empowerment is a means of connecting with this expansive potential inside our own mind, giving us the energy and wisdom to begin to realise our own Buddha nature. Everyone is welcome to attend!

An empowerment bestows upon us special blessings that heal our mental continuum and awaken our Buddha nature.”

~ Mahamudra Tantra by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche

Everybody is welcome. This empowerment is perfect for all levels of experience.
