Join us online as we engage in guided meditations to grow our good heart of love towards others.

Love is the great protector, protecting us from anger, jealousy and harm from others. Through this practice we can develop a realistic view of the world, based on an understanding of the equality and interdependence of all living beings. Once we view each and every living being as important we will naturally develop good intentions towards them. Whereas the mind that cherishes only ourself is the basis for all impure, samsaric experience, the mind that cherishes others is the basis for all the good qualities of enlightenment.

The course comprises two one-hour sessions each with guided meditations and teachings offering practical advice. There will be a half hour break between sessions.

Kelsang Rak-ma will guide this course. Everyone is welcome and no experience is required. Perfect for beginners.

TECHNICAL ADVICE

Please make sure you have a set-up that works to connect to live streaming video.

Our recommendations are:

Use a computer/laptop if possible. Some webinar features may not be available to you if you are using a tablet or mobile.

If you are using a computer/laptop, close all other windows and apps.

Use a good and stable wi-fi connection, preferably wired.

It is also recommended that you reduce the amount of people streaming or gaming in your household for the duration of the class.

If using your phone, try to use wi-fi so that you don’t run out of data in your plan (video consumes a lot of data)

SPIRITUAL ADVICE

Please find a comfortable and quiet place that you consider special in your home or room.

Prepare yourself before the class begins by turning off your phone, avoiding distractions, making sure you can focus on the teaching for its duration (each session is approximately one hour).

Have a notebook to write down some of the key points of the teaching that you want to remember and integrate in your life.

Enjoy!
