Why Do Buddhists Pray?

Full-day course at Drolma Centre

Saturday 16 May 2020
10.30am – 3.30pm

In ‘Lamp of the Jewel Sutra,’ Buddha says:

Faith precedes all virtuous activities, like a mother
It protects and increases all beneficial qualities.”

One beautiful expression of faith is prayer. On this day course, we will look at the power of prayer to purify and uplift our mind, and to prepare our mind for developing all good inner qualities. Everyone, Buddhist, non-Buddhist, all faiths and none, are welcome to attend.

Buddhist nun Kelsang Rak-ma will guide this course and each session will consist of guided meditations and a talk. Everyone is welcome and no experience is required.
