Online Morning Retreat from Drolma Centre

Life can become very hectic and before we know it we are carried along by the busyness, forgetting how important it is for our well-being to take time out.

A rest and reflect retreat gives us a wonderful opportunity to stop, let go of it all and recover vital energy.

It is also a time to consider our potential, to consider what is important for us and open our heart to beneficial changes.

Buddhist nun and Resident Teacher Kelsang Malaya who has over 20 years experience of practising meditation will guide this course. Each session will consist of guided meditations and a practical talk with advice from Buddha’s teachings.

Everyone is welcome. Perfect for beginners and more experienced meditators.

This course is for people who are connected with Drolma Buddhist Centre living in and around Peterborough. This includes our branch classes at Boston, Crowland, Ely, Huntingdon, March, Spalding and Stamford and people in those areas. If this does not apply to you, then please contact us at

Please find a comfortable and quiet place that you consider special in your home or room.

Prepare yourself before the class begins by turning off your phone, avoiding distractions, making sure you can focus on the teaching for its duration (each session is approximately one hour).

Have a notebook to write down some of the key points of the teaching that you want to remember and integrate in your life.

Course Format

10.30-11.30am: Session 1
12.00-1.00pm: Session 2

Each session includes a practical talk to help your meditation experience as well as two guided meditations.

Everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
