The Art of Self Confidence

Meditation is a set of tools to improve the quality and capacity of our mind. On this course we will:

  • see how working with our mind frees us from dependency on unpredictable external objects, people and events for our happiness
  • understand how this gives us the freedom to respond to events in a more constructive way
  • appreciate how confidence isn’t arrogance but can be harnessed as a force for helping others in a troubled world

These meditation classes are suitable for everyone. They give a practical introduction to meditation and include topics such as the benefits of meditation, good posture, types of meditation and how to start a daily meditation practice. Advice is also given on how to remain peaceful in daily life by applying the meditation techniques explained in these classes.
