Peterborough Thursday meditation classes 7 – 8.15pm

Happiness is a Way of Life

August 23 ¦ 30  September  6 ¦ 13 ¦ 20 ¦ 27

All living beings have a shared wish – to be happy and free from problems. Meditation can help us to fulfil this wish by enabling us to build inner peace in our mind. This peace is a true source of happiness and a reliable solution to our daily problems. Then we can be really happy – and help others to be happy too.

These meditation classes are suitable for everyone. They are taught by our Resident Teacher Kelsang Rak-ma and give a practical introduction to meditation and include topics such as the benefits of meditation, mindfulness, good posture, types of meditation and how to start a daily meditation practice. Advice is also given on how to remain peaceful in daily life by applying the meditation techniques explained in these classes. The classes conclude with light refreshments afterwards. Please feel free to drop in on a class-by-class basis. See below for dates.

No special clothing is required with chairs and cushions provided for your comfort. Come along to any session. Pre-booking is available but not required
