Meditation for a Happy Life

February  20, 27

Meditation is an ancient technique to familiarise our mind with positive states of mind. If our mind is positive, we will experience deep inner peace. If our mind is peaceful, we will be happy. Join Buddhist nun and experienced meditator Kelsang Rak-ma to discover how to build true happiness from within.

February 20 – Meditating to improve our love for others
February 27 – Meditation to improve our wisdom

Suitable for everyone, these classes focus on how to meditate and use Buddhist understanding to solve our daily problems. They give a practical introduction to meditation and include topics such as the benefits of meditation, good posture, types of meditation and how to start a daily meditation practice. Advice is also given on how to remain peaceful in daily life by applying the meditation techniques explained in these classes.

These weekly classes are organized as short courses, usually 4 to 7 weeks long. Check below for dates and future course topics.  You can attend the whole course or simply drop in to a class whenever you wish, as each class is self-contained.  You are also welcome to just come along and try a session.
