Introduction to Meditation

On this inspiring introductory course we will:

  • understand the background to meditation practice – where it comes from and what it can offer
  • be guided through some simple meditations for increasing our positive minds
  • encourage ourself to start to put together a regular meditation practice
  • learn the confidence to keep going with our meditation at home
  • suitable both for beginners and those who wish to improve their meditation experience

These meditation classes are suitable for everyone. They give a practical introduction to meditation and include topics such as the benefits of meditation, good posture, types of meditation and how to start a daily meditation practice. Advice is also given on how to remain peaceful in daily life by applying the meditation techniques explained in these classes.
