We all wish for peace – within our life, within our family and within an increasingly troubled world. By adopting meditation techniques, we can learn to grow our own inner peace and share it with others. Join Buddhist nun and experienced meditator Kelsang Rak-ma to explore how to really make a difference – by working with our mind.
Suitable for everyone, these classes focus on how to meditate and use Buddhist understanding to solve our daily problems. They give a practical introduction to meditation and include topics such as the benefits of meditation, good posture, types of meditation and how to start a daily meditation practice. Advice is also given on how to remain peaceful in daily life by applying the meditation techniques explained in these classes.
These courses also run on Wednesday Lunchtimes and on Thursday lunchtimes at Stamford Arts Centre.
