Here we can find some quietness and peace to be able to deepen our concentration, meditation and mindfulness.

Accommodation & Booking Information

Fees include accommodation, all meals and course fees. Bedding and towels are provided in all rooms and have an en-suite bathroom.

TWIN/DOUBLE ROOMS: The booking for Twin/Double rooms is per room, not per person. Please enter the name of the person with whom you are sharing on the booking form. We’re sorry but we cannot allocate roommates.

Accessibility & Dietary Requirements

Thornby Hall is a Jacobean Manor House so accessibility is limited in certain areas. However, the dining room, lounge, cafe, shop and meditation room are all accessible and there is a bedroom with full disabled access. It is important if you have any mobility difficulties that you contact us on 01733 755444 so that we can discuss the best way we can meet your needs.

Plenty of free parking is available at Nagarjuna Centre for retreat participants.

Thornby is about 1 mile off Junction 1 of the A14 on the A5199

Retreat Venue

KMC Nagarjuna Thornby Hall is a beautiful Jacobean Manor House set in 17 acres of stunning grounds in the Northamptonshire countryside. Relax in the World Peace Cafe, take a walk around the lake and gardens or simply chill in the lounge.

Accommodation is in the newly developed ‘Stables Retreat’ and offers single and double/twin en-suite rooms. Located in the old coach house in the grounds, these guest rooms are quiet and have been renovated to the highest standard while maintaining the building’s Victorian charm.
