Meditation in Stamford
Learn more about our local meditation classes and courses at the Stamford Arts Centre. We offer weekly daytime drop-in classes on Thursdays at the Stamford Arts Centre. We also hold occasional half-day meditation courses on Sundays.
These meditation classes and courses are suitable for everyone. They give a practical introduction to meditation and include topics such as the benefits of meditation, good posture, types of meditation and how to start a daily meditation practice. Advice is also given on how to remain calm, peaceful and stress-free in daily life by applying the meditation techniques explained in these courses.
They are organised by Drolma Buddhist Centre which a centre for meditation and Modern Buddhism based in Peterborough. The Centre and its activities are open to everyone and you do not have to be Buddhist to take part in the classes or courses run by us to benefit from them. Everyone is welcome and classes and courses are suitable both for beginners and experienced meditators.
