Meditation: starting and improving

Meditation is an ancient technique for modern times – and everyone can learn to do it. With practical teachings and guided meditations, these classes will help you to start a meditation practice and to keep going.

You may book in advance or are welcome come along on the day and pay at the Box Office

These meditation classes are suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience of meditation. They give a practical introduction to meditation and include topics such as the benefits of meditation, good posture, types of meditation, and how to start a daily meditation practice. Advice is also given on how to remain peaceful in daily life by applying the meditation techniques explained in these classes.

By harnessing the power of meditation, we can come to understand that happiness IS an option. We can learn to cultivate positive, peaceful minds that make joy and happiness an everyday reality – for ourself and for those we love.

Wharf Road Car Park is just a few minutes walk from the Stamford Arts Centre.

Seating will be on chairs and no special clothing is required. We are very sorry but the room is on the first floor and does not have disabled access.
