Stress and anxiety are increasingly common problems for people in our busy modern world. They prevent us from experiencing peace and enjoying life. Meditation is an effective way to gain freedom from these painful states of mind. Through meditation we can train our mind to remain calm in the midst of life’s challenges. All our ordinary problems and difficulties will fall away, and we will face life with clarity, inner strength and profound peace.

Everyone is welcome and no experience of meditation is needed

You will need to wear a face covering at the centre and in the meditation room (unless exempt).

We regret we’re unable to provide refreshments after the class.

Sunday 13 June: Protect your mind 

Stress and anxiety damage our motivation and deplete our energy. Enjoy a special breathing meditation and attain a controlled and positive mind. 

Sunday 20 June: First Aid for a Troubled Mind 

Sometimes our experiences of stress and anxiety can feel overwhelming. We can rely on a powerful meditation which brings rapid relief from these painful feelings. 

Sunday 27 June: Take a Fresh Look at your Life 

We can easily become anxious and depressed when we feel that our life lacks meaning. Hear what Buddha teaches about your true potential and engage in a meditation to remove your feelings of self-doubt, gain a fresh sense of purpose and increase your self-confidence.

Sunday 4 July: The Challenge of Others 

Much stress and anxiety can arise for us in our daily dealings with other people. Discover how by cultivating a balanced view in meditation, we can remove this anxiety and attain a stable and peaceful state of mind.

Sunday 11 July: All the Happiness in the World

Would you like to have good relationships and live in harmony with others? Practise a beautiful meditation and experience for yourself the healing power of the precious mind of cherishing love.
