Learn simple and gentle Buddhist meditation techniques to relax the body and calm the mind, with a chance to explore practical ways to develop inner resilience for the difficulties of everyday life, especially in these challenging times.

Learn how and why anxiety arises in our mind and how you can use meditation as a reliable and effective antidote.

Sunday 24th January

“Solving Your Everyday Problems”

So much anxiety can arise in our mind as we encounter challenging situations in our daily life. It can sometimes feel like a rollercoaster ride!  Learn the true nature of your problems and how you can solve them through meditation.

Sunday 31st January

“Bigger Mind, Smaller Problems”

Relax and enjoy a gentle and beautiful meditation which will enable you to break the vicious cycle of anxiety and restore your mental peace.

“New Hope”

In the midst of a challenging world, discover a meditation that will help you to face each new day with hope.

“You Are Not Alone!”

Anxiety can arise when we feel cut off from the world around us.  Learn how to overcome this painful feeling of isolation by engaging in a simple and beautiful meditation on love.

Teaching – practical advice for our daily lives

Guided meditation based on the teaching

Suitable for all levels – perfect for beginners and those with some experience

During the class we will be using The Liberating Prayer. Printed copies can be purchased at THARPA UK where you can also find many other resources such as books, CDs, images and downloads to help you in your meditation practice.


Please find a comfortable and quiet place that you consider special in your home or room.

Prepare yourself before the class begins by turning off your phone, avoiding distractions, making sure you can focus on the teaching for its duration (normally approximately one hour).

Have a notebook to write down some of the key points of the teaching that you want to remember and integrate in your life.



You will receive a link to the class 1 hour before the class starts and another reminder 10 minutes before.
