Learn simple and gentle Buddhist meditation techniques to relax the body and calm the mind, with a chance to explore practical ways to develop inner resilience for the difficulties of everyday life, especially in these challenging times.

During the class we will be using The Liberating Prayer. Printed copies can be purchased at THARPA UK where you can also find many other resources such as books, CDs, images and downloads to help you in your meditation practice.

You will receive a link to the live streamed class when you complete your booking by email confirmation. Please keep this safe as you will need it to access the class.

Please find a comfortable and quiet place that you consider special in your home or room.

Prepare yourself before the class begins by turning off your phone, avoiding distractions, making sure you can focus on the teaching for its duration (normally approximately one hour).

Have a notebook to write down some of the key points of the teaching that you want to remember and integrate in your life.



Please make sure you have a set-up that works to connect to live streaming video.

Our recommendations are:

Use a computer/laptop if possible. Some webinar features may not be available to you if you are using a tablet or mobile.

Close all other windows, tabs and apps that are running.

Use a good and stable internet connection, preferably wired.

It is also recommended that you reduce the amount of people streaming or gaming in your household for the duration of the class.

If using your phone, try to use wi-fi so that you don’t run out of data in your plan (video consumes a lot of data)
