It’s time to unwind and live more lightly. Putting energy into improving our life or being a modern person does not mean we need to be tightly wound. Learning to practice Buddhist meditation and mindfulness allows one to learn to really let go of painful thoughts, worried states of mind, and physical and mental tension. Throughout this course, we will look at various time-tested tools and strategies within Buddhist teachings to accomplish these aims.

This class is also available in Stamford Arts Centre (Thursday’s 1-2pm).

Sept 7 – Bringing peace to the situations in our life

Sept 14 – Overcoming the biggest obstacle to meditation

Sept 21 – Feeling freedom and optimism through understanding Karma

Sept 28 – Opening the heart and living with compassion

Oct 5th – Letting go of pain and discovering inner peace

Suitable for beginners and those with more experience
